"Passing on the wisdom of Qi Huang, introducing new chapters in surgery" The founding meeting of the first surgical committee of the Weifang City Traditional Chinese Medicine Society and the 2025 academic conference were successfully held.

To promote the rapid development of traditional Chinese medicine surgery in the city and enhance academic exchanges, as well as improve the professional skills and clinical diagnosis and treatment levels of clinical physicians, on November 8th, the establishment meeting of the Surgical Professional Committee of the Weifang Traditional Chinese Medicine Society and the 2025 academic conference were grandly held at the Weifang Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital. The meeting first held an election meeting, through democratic election, 40 members of the first Surgical Professional Committee were elected, and the chief physician Sun Chenkun from the Weifang Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital was appointed as the chairperson. The smooth convening of this meeting received strong support from Professor Huang Qingxian from the China Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences Cancer Hospital in Shanxi Province. After the chairperson Sun Chenkun solemnly proposed it, Professor Huang Qingxian was invited to serve as the honorary chairperson of the committee. At the same time, the揭牌 ceremony of Professor Huang Qingxian's workstation was held. The establishment of the workstation marks that the Weifang Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital has entered a new stage of cooperation with top experts in the field of surgery， providing more high-quality academic resources and clinical guidance to the surgical team of the hospital， and helping to continuously improve the surgical diagnosis and treatment level.

After the揭牌 ceremony， the academic meeting session began. Professors Huang Qingxian from the Shanxi Provincial Cancer Hospital of the Shanxi Provincial Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital and Cui Xijun from Weihai Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital， as well as other well-known experts from within and outside the province， respectively gave special academic lectures. The experts conducted in-depth exchanges and sharing on the latest research progress in the field of surgery， clinical diagnosis and treatment techniques， and experiences in integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine treatment.
The academic atmosphere of the conference was intense， and the discussions were lively.
