It has established a comprehensive training base for traditional Chinese medicine nursing, an appropriate technology training base for traditional Chinese medicine nursing, and a clinical teaching base for specialized nurses in traditional Chinese medicine nursing in the province. The nursing discipline has ranked among the provincial key specialties. Various traditional Chinese medicine characteristic nursing techniques such as moxibustion and traditional Chinese medicine plasters have achieved remarkable results in improving patients' symptoms, promoting disease recovery, and enhancing the quality of life. "Promoting the high-quality development of traditional Chinese medicine nursing is our common responsibility and mission," Tan Song said. During the first two days of the first training course, experts such as the president of Yantai Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital, Dr. Han Feng, Dr. Zhang Lei, and Chief Nursing Specialist Liu Meiying focused on teaching theories such as the integration of the five-element theory with modern medicine, the application of observation, auscultation, inquiry, and differentiation of symptoms, and the introduction to the meridian system. The second training course will focus on the standardized operation of several traditional Chinese medicine techniques such as auricular positioning acupressure, umbilical moxibustion, cupping, and督灸. Through workshop training and practical assessment， the technical foundation will be solidified. The third training course will further expand the technical dimension， conducting theoretical and practical training for techniques such as acupoint application， hot bag with Chinese medicine， and fire dragon tank.

It truly achieved a seamless transition from 'learning, practicing to applying'." Ms. Zheng, a trainee from the grassroots hospital in Fushan, told the reporter. The morning's study made her feel very rewarding. She will fully 'recharge and accumulate energy' during this training and, after returning to her grassroots position, use her more professional diagnostic and therapeutic nursing skills to alleviate the pain of the people and make the warm services of traditional Chinese nursing take root in the grassroots. "This training course was attended by 231 nursing experts from 63 hospitals. The content covered systematic traditional Chinese nursing theory and practical skills, which can help nursing staff improve their professional level and enhance their clinical application ability."
