Yantai City Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital and Zhifu District People's Procuratorate held a signing ceremony for the cooperation in promoting health between the procuratorate and the hospital.
In order to deeply implement the "Healthy China" strategy and steadily promote the measures of caring for police officers and assisting prosecutors, and to explore new paths for the utilization of traditional Chinese medicine resources to serve the judicial frontlines, on the morning of May 21, 2026, the signing ceremony of the cooperative agreement for the joint construction of health between Yantai Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital and Zhifu District People's Procuratorate was held at the East District of our hospital. The Party Secretary and Procurator-General of Zhifu District People's Procuratorate, Liu Ruwei, and the Party Secretary of Yantai Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital, Wang Yunqiang, attended the event and delivered speeches. More than 30 people, including the members of the leadership teams of Zhifu District People's Procuratorate and Yantai Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital, representatives of the police force, and representatives of relevant functional departments and medical staff of the hospital, participated in the event. Vice Chairperson of the Hospital's Party Committee, Liu Chunna, presided over the ceremony.

In his speech, Secretary Wang Yunqiang stated that fairness and justice are the foundation of society, and physical and mental health are the capital for striving. Prosecutors, as representatives of public interests and guardians of fairness and justice, have been working on the frontlines of judicial cases all year round. Their work is highly demanding and they face high mental pressure. Their health risks cannot be ignored. This cooperation and joint construction is an important practice for the hospital to fulfill its social responsibilities as a public institution and promote the downward flow of high-quality medical resources. It is also a practical action to pay tribute to the judicial forces with the characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine and to contribute to the construction of "Healthy Yantai". Secretary Wang also introduced the hospital's development and construction situation over the past few years to the representatives present.
In his speech, Director Liu Ruwei pointed out that although the duties of the procuratorial department and medical services have different job divisions and focus on different fields, the people-oriented ideals deeply rooted in their hearts are highly consistent. They are an important force for safeguarding people's livelihood and maintaining peace in a certain area. This collaboration with Yantai Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital is not only a heartwarming move to cultivate the humanistic care of the procuratorial team and protect the physical and mental health of the officers, but also a practical measure to deepen the two-way collaboration between procuratorial and medical sectors and explore the model of joint construction. It has effectively integrated the resources of both parties and achieved complementary advantages and mutual empowerment of legal services and medical services.
After the ceremony, our hospital invited the attending leaders and representatives of the police officers to visit the East District of the hospital, to learn about the construction situation of the Traditional Chinese Medicine Prevention and Health Care Service Center, and to experience the unique charm of traditional Chinese medicine culture and the brand-new appearance of the hospital's modernization renovation. The achievement of this cooperation is not only a tribute to the prosecutors working on the judicial front, but also a new starting point for the collaboration between the prosecutors and the medical staff. In the future, both parties will take this signing as an opportunity to continuously deepen practical cooperation in health management and the inheritance and promotion of traditional Chinese medicine culture, and strive to create a demonstration model of interactive cooperation between prosecutors and medical staff and "physical and mental" health.
