Health Together | "The Charm of Xinglin's Mountains and Seas, Traditional Chinese Medicine Benefits Every Household" – Renowned Doctors from Yantai Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine Bring Health to Zhifu District People's Court
To celebrate the 116th International Women's Day and the 5th International Day of the Female Judge, on the afternoon of March 6, a team of renowned physicians from Yantai Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital visited Zhifu District People's Court to launch the "Harmony of TCM in the Mountains and Seas: Health for Every Family" health promotion event. The activity delivered a warm and professional health gift to staff and officials at Zhifu District People's Court. The event was hosted by Liu Chengyuan, member of the Party Leadership Group and Director of the Political Department at Zhifu District People's Court. Wang Fang, Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of Yantai Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital, along with over ten expert physicians, and representatives from Zhifu District People's Court attended the event.
This event tailored its services to the work characteristics and health needs of court staff, offering precise traditional Chinese and Western medical education and clinical care. It provided one-on-one health consultations, constitution assessment, syndrome differentiation, and personalized treatment plans. On-site, there was also a special exhibition and tasting session featuring everyday-life-oriented traditional Chinese medicine products. The event lasted over three hours, received enthusiastic responses, and served more than 100 staff members.

At the beginning of the event, Dr. Sun Li, Director of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Zhang Dan, attending physician and expert in the Department of Neck, Shoulder, Back, and Leg Pain, and Deputy Director Liu Weichao from the Center for Traditional Chinese Medicine Preventive Healthcare delivered clear and insightful presentations on the prevention and treatment of common women's diseases, management of neck, shoulder, back, and leg pain, and the TCM concept of "treating before illness." Their talks were warmly received.
Taking into account the issues that police officers are particularly concerned about, such as sub-health problems, common diseases, and chronic diseases, experts from the Preventive Medicine Department, Zhang Kangle, and the Rheumatology Department, Song Zhichao, conducted physical examinations and provided prescriptions for traditional Chinese medicine health treatment for the officers. Considering the common problems of sports injuries and joint fatigue that police officers may encounter in their daily work, experts from the Orthopedics Department, Li Wei, and the Neck, Shoulder, Hip and Leg Pain Department, Zhang Dan, provided targeted diagnosis and rehabilitation guidance for the officers. In response to the health needs of the female population, the hospital specially arranged gynecology experts Sun Li, dermatology and aesthetic experts Zhao Yicheng, and colorectal surgery experts Liu Lihua to be present, providing comprehensive and systematic assistance to the female police officers to "solve their problems and alleviate their worries".
This is the first event of the "Jinglin Mountain Sea Rhythm, Traditional Chinese Medicine Benefits Millions" series of activities organized by our hospital to promote the dissemination of high-quality medical resources, serve the legal front, and care for judicial officers. It is another significant measure taken by the hospital to further deepen its commitment to providing better healthcare services. In the future, the hospital will continue to use "Health Cooperation" as a bond, continuously enhance its work in health management, cultural collaboration, and public welfare services, so as to ensure that the warmth of traditional Chinese medicine can continuously spread throughout the city.
