As the Spring Festival approaches, in order to comprehensively identify and rectify all kinds of safety hazards, and resolutely prevent and curb production safety accidents, ensuring the safe and stable operation of the hospital during the holiday period, on the morning of February 13th, Han Feng, the deputy secretary of the Party Committee and the president of Yantai Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital, and Liu Chunna, the deputy secretary of the Party Committee, led the heads of relevant departments such as the Security Department, Logistics Support Department, Information Technology Department, Property Management Department, Material Supply Management Department, Medical Engineering Department, Chinese Medicine Department, Western Medicine Department, and Training Department, to conduct a comprehensive and thorough pre-holiday safety inspection throughout the hospital.

The inspection team adopted the "hospital leadership leading, multiple departments collaborating" mode, adhering to the principle of "no blind spots, no blind areas", and conducted on-site inspections in key areas and critical points of the West and East campuses. 
In the West District, the inspection team focused on visiting the outpatient department, the pharmacy, and the warehouse. They carefully inspected the storage safety of the medicines, especially the toxic and narcotic drugs, as well as the management of their entry and exit. Subsequently, the inspection team conducted a detailed inspection of core facilities and equipment rooms such as the fire monitoring room, air conditioning room, oxygen generator room, and power distribution room. They particularly examined the operating status of special equipment and the maintenance records. In the material warehouse and the cafeteria, Dr. Han Feng inquired about the food supply during the festival period and tested the sensitivity of the gas alarm device on-site. At the same time, the inspection team also conducted on-site supervision of the electricity safety in the dormitory area and the emergency duty situation at the East Gate Police Station.
When visiting the information room in the East District, after listening to the report on the network information security protection measures, Deputy Secretary Liu Chunna emphasized that it is necessary to ensure the system operation and maintenance guarantee during the festival period. In the emergency hall, the pharmacy, and the security check point, the inspection team repeatedly confirmed and inspected the management of hazardous chemicals and the equipment allocation of the micro-fire station. In the disinfection supply center, the generator room, and the radiotherapy center, the inspection team conducted on-site tests of the grounding protection of large medical equipment, the annual inspection of pressure vessels, and the switching of backup power supplies.

This inspection covered key areas such as the power distribution room, strong and weak current wells, fire monitoring room, oxygen generator room, air conditioning room, information room, equipment, medicine, and material warehouses, as well as dormitories and the cafeteria. The inspection team screened each aspect around five key links: electricity safety, fire facilities, evacuation routes, gas safety, and special equipment.
Dr. Han Feng emphasized during the inspection that safety production is the lifeline of hospital development. All departments must resolutely overcome complacency and侥幸psychology， and always remain vigilant with the awareness that "hidden dangers are accidents". Regarding the problems found during the inspection， Dr. Han requested that the responsible departments establish a ledger， immediately rectify those that can be done so， and clearly define the responsible person， set a time limit， and implement closed-loop management to ensure that all hidden dangers are cleared before the festival.
Deputy Secretary Liu Chunna pointed out that the closer it is to the Spring Festival， the tighter the safety must be tightened. Each Party branch and Party member should play a role as a combat fortress and a vanguard model in safety production work， lead the implementation of the duty and standby system， and ensure that the information reporting channels are unobstructed and the emergency response is timely and effective.
This pre-festival safety inspection further strengthened the main responsibility for safety production of all departments in the hospital， effectively enhancing the safety awareness of the staff. In the future， the hospital will continue to strengthen safety risk control and hidden danger investigation and governance to ensure that all staff and patients have a safe and peaceful Spring Festival.
