Traditional Chinese medicine is a treasure of the Chinese nation,and it is also an important bridge for promoting exchanges between China and other countries in culture.On the morning of October 16,the"Friends from All Over the World"China-Mexico Cultural Exchange Tour and the International Cooperation Signing Ceremony between Yantai TCM Hospital and the Autonomous University of Baja California and the Mexican College of Traditional Chinese Medicine were successfully held.This event takes traditional Chinese medicine culture and academic exchange as a starting point,and will continue to promote exchanges and cooperation in various fields between China and Mexico,exploring new paths for the sailing of traditional Chinese medicine culture overseas.

　　Vice Mayor Shen Jian of Yantai Municipal Committee and Yantai Municipal Government,Deputy Director of the Propaganda Department of Yantai Municipal Committee Gong Haitao,Party Secretary and Director of the Health Commission of Yantai City Bao Wei,Party Secretary and Director of Yantai TCM Hospital Wang Yunqiang,as well as the leadership of the hospital,attended the signing ceremony.President of the State University of Mexico Valdero,Director of the Acupuncture Department of the State University of Mexico Daner,Chairman of the Chinese Medicine University of Mexico Song Qinfu,and President of the Chinese Herbal Medicine University of Mexico Li Meihong,as the top leaders from Mexico,also attended the signing ceremony.

　In his opening speech,Wang Yunqiang,Secretary of the Party Committee and President of Yantai TCM Hospital,said that for many years,Yantai TCM Hospital has established friendly relations with multiple universities and hospitals in Mexico,such as Quibinco University,State University of Mexico,TCM University of Mexico,and Tijuana General Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine.The hospital has also cooperated with them to establish training bases for acupuncture and establish the China-Mexico Overseas Traditional Chinese Medicine Center,promoting the dissemination of traditional Chinese medicine culture overseas.In the future,we look forward to more international friends joining the big family of international cooperation in traditional Chinese medicine and working together to promote the prosperity and development of traditional Chinese medicine!

　　The President of the State University of Mexico,Valdero,stated that the Yantai TCM Hospital has provided a platform for learning and exchange,allowing us not only to appreciate the profoundness of traditional Chinese medicine culture,but also to broaden our international perspective.At the same time,it has established a base for exchanging traditional Chinese culture.

　　Subsequently,the Party Secretary and President of Yantai TCM Hospital,Wang Yunqiang,signed agreements with the President of the State University of Mexico,Valdero,and the President of the TCM University of Mexico,Li Meihong.The leaders present at the ceremony jointly unveiled the plaques for the"Academic Exchange and Cooperation Base of Yantai TCM Hospital-State University of Mexico"and the"Tumor Cooperation Base of Yantai TCM Hospital-TCM University of Mexico."They also presented appointment letters to the visiting professors from the State University of Mexico and the TCM University of Mexico.

　　At the event site,the bases for Chinese Yantai-Mexico State University Cultural Exchange Center for Traditional Chinese Culture and Chinese Yantai-Mexico Traditional Chinese Medicine University Cultural Exchange Center for Traditional Chinese Culture were also unveiled.

　　This year marks the 66th anniversary of the founding of Yantai TCM Hospital.The expansion of the hospital's campus is about to come into use,and the renovation of the old campus will also be launched in full.In the next step,the hospital will take this signing ceremony as a new starting point to further strengthen international cooperation and exchange in the areas of teacher training,student exchange,scientific research innovation,and tumor base construction.The hospital will strive to deepen the content of cooperation,innovate the forms of cooperation,and elevate the level of cooperation,thus opening a new chapter of"medical-school"cooperation and contributing more TCM forces to the construction of a healthcare community.
