On December 17th, the founding conference of the Shandong Provincial Alliance of Traditional Chinese Medicine Oncology Prevention and Treatment was successfully held. This meeting adopted a combination of online and offline methods.Jia Qingshun, the second-level inspector of the Shandong Provincial Health Commission and director of the Guidance Department of Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine, Zhang Kuiyang, a member of the Party group, deputy director, and third-level investigator of the Yantai Municipal Health Commission, Sang Zhongjun, chief of the Guidance Section of Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine, and other leading comrades attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by the chief of the Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Yantai City, Wang Yunqiang, secretary of the Party Committee and Dean of the Hospital, Vice President Hou Aixiu, the director of the leading specialty oncology Department, the medical backbone, and the leaders of 30 other member units in the province, and the heads of related departments. The meeting was chaired by the Chief of the Department of Sang Zhongjun of the Yantai Municipal Health Commission.At the same time as the conference, a national-level continuing education project “Dual-course management training course for cancer diagnosis and treatment of Chinese and Western Medicine and advanced training course on the academic thought of famous and old Chinese medicine” was also held.

At the beginning of the meeting, Sun Peipei, director of the Department of Oncology of Binzhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, spoke on behalf of the member units. She said that as a member unit of the Cancer Prevention and Treatment Specialist Alliance, she promised to voluntarily abide by the alliance agreement and, under the guidance of the lead unit, commit to the prevention and treatment of traditional Chinese medicine tumors and actively promote the construction of the alliance.

Vice President Hou Aixiu of Yantai Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine spoke on behalf of the leading specialty. She pointed out that the member units of the Shandong Provincial Alliance of Traditional Chinese Medicine Oncology Prevention and Treatment Specialties cover 31 Chinese medicine hospitals, oncology specialty Hospitals, Western Medicine General Hospitals, Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine hospitals and other provincial, municipal, county and municipal hospitals in our province, covering a wide range.The establishment of the alliance has built a better exchange platform for traditional Chinese medicine and integrated Chinese and Western medicine oncology workers in the province.The specialty alliance will unite and cooperate to provide member specialties with closer scientific research collaboration, clinical diagnosis and treatment, discussion of difficult issues, consultation, upstream and downstream linkage, hierarchical diagnosis and treatment, talent training, academic exchanges and other support, in order to promote the common improvement of the level of diagnosis and treatment of traditional Chinese medicine oncology specialties, so as to promote the high-quality development of traditional Chinese medicine oncology in our province, and make due contributions to the construction of a healthy Shandong and a healthy China!

Secretary Wang Yunqiang of Yantai Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine spoke on behalf of the leading unit. The performance appraisal of the third-level public hospital of traditional Chinese medicine in the country is Grade A, and it has been in the forefront of traditional Chinese medicine hospitals in prefecture-level cities in the province for three consecutive years.In recent years, the oncology department of the hospital's national-level key specialties has stepped into the fast track of the development of the department. Following the successful selection of the leading specialty of the Qilu Superior specialty Cluster of Traditional Chinese Medicine, today it took the lead in the establishment of the Shandong Provincial Alliance of Traditional Chinese Medicine Oncology Prevention and Treatment. He said that Yantai's traditional Chinese medicine oncology business, under the leadership of Vice President Hou Aixiao, has actively acted, worked hard and innovated, so that our diagnosis and treatment of malignant tumors and clinical research have achieved development.
