Science and Technology Xingyuan is an eternal theme and a reliable guarantee for hospitals to improve their core competitiveness.
In recent years,hospital leaders have attached great importance to scientific research work,clarified the development goal of building a“learning hospital”,further strengthened the work of“science and technology rejuvenation Institute”,strengthened scientific and technological investment,scientific and technological incentives,introduced a series of management measures for discipline construction and talent training,improved intellectual property management,and standardized continuing medical education to lay a solid foundation for the sustainable development of hospitals.
In the past five years,scientific research has developed rapidly.It has undertaken 11 provincial-level projects of the Traditional Chinese Medicine Science and Technology Development Plan and 14 projects of the Yantai Science and Technology Development Plan,and has sought nearly 400,000 yuan in special funds for scientific research at all levels.In the past five years,it has won 15 awards for various scientific and technological achievements at or above the municipal level.Among them,the scientific research achievement“Investigation and analysis of the current situation of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Rural Yantai City”won the third prize for scientific and Technological Achievements of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine.Scientific research papers have been published in top international journals such as EI.In 2009,the whole institute published more than 50 papers,8 scientific research projects,3 municipal-level projects,and 7 scientific research achievements.The whole hospital has carried out nearly 30 new technology projects.
Great strides have been made in the training of talents,and a group of high-level young and middle-aged scientific and technological talents have emerged.They have 2 national famous old traditional Chinese medicine teachers,1 national outstanding traditional Chinese medicine talent,2 clinical training talents of traditional Chinese medicine in Shandong Province,3 provincial-level famous traditional Chinese medicine,9 municipal-level famous traditional Chinese medicine,and 1 hospital-level famous traditional Chinese medicine.There are 2 top-notch professional and technical talents in Yantai City,and 1 leader in cross-century disciplines in Yantai City.
A number of societies and organizations of the Yantai Society of Traditional Chinese Medicine have been established in our hospital.This year,the Oncology Professional Committee of the Yantai Society of Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine was newly established.It has successfully held many academic exchange conferences,provincial continuing medical education project training courses,and invited a number of well-known domestic oncology experts to give academic lectures.
In 2009,nearly 200 people in the city participated in various business training activities organized by our hospital,which effectively enhanced the academic status and academic popularity of our Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine in the region and even the province.
