In 2021,since our department launched the yin-yang balance acupuncture method for the treatment of vertigo,the therapeutic effect of our department in the treatment of vertigo has been greatly improved.Acupuncture treatment has the characteristics of rapid onset.When it is too late to take traditional Chinese medicine,many patients follow the traditional Chinese medicine concept of“urgent treatment is the standard”and“slow treatment is the foundation”.The use of yin-yang balance acupuncture to select acupuncture points for treatment can quickly relieve patients'dizziness,headache,nausea and vomiting and other discomfort,relieve patients'pain,and at the same time improve the reputation of the department and the hospital,and establish another signboard for the treatment of vertigo in the geriatrics department,with high-quality curative effects.Word of mouth among patients has spread,and many new patients have come.Since the introduction of yin-yang balance acupuncture to treat vertigo,the number of outpatient vertigo patients has increased significantly.It can be seen that patients in our city recognize the yin-yang balance acupuncture method of our department.
On the basis of traditional Chinese medicine decoctions,our department uses yin-yang balance acupuncture to treat vertigo,which not only improves the clinical efficacy,but also shortens the length of hospitalization of patients by 1-3 days on average.It saves treatment costs for patients,reduces the pressure on medical insurance in the hospital,and at the same time is more in line with the treatment concept under DRGS.
