A New Journey, A New Height. On July 26th, a gathering of renowned experts filled the halls of Yantai Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital, with an atmosphere of learning abounding. The "Lingsu Bearing Centuries, Hai Dai Transmitting Qiyang Huang" 2025 Yantai Traditional Chinese Medicine Academic Inheritance and Development Conference was successfully held here. Li Yu, the vice-chairman and secretary-general of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies and the former director of the Science and Technology Department of the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, delivered a speech expressing his congratulations on the convening of the 2025 Conference on the Academic Transmission and Development of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Yantai City and the opening of the expanded hospital area of Yantai City Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine. He proposed suggestions for the transmission and development of traditional Chinese medicine in Yantai City from the perspectives of inheritance, innovation and development. Gu Yinzhu, a national master of traditional Chinese medicine, former vice-chairman of the Shandong Provincial People's Congress and former president of Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, shared his views on the importance of the inheritance of traditional Chinese medicine based on his own experiences.

At the meeting, Han Feng, the vice president of Yantai Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, presided over the unveiling ceremony. During the academic conference, a solemn apprenticeship ceremony was also held.
