Focus on Problems for Implementation, Enhance Quality for Development - Our Hospital Carries Out the Work of Medical Administrative Inspections by the Hospital President
In order to further strengthen the meticulous management and continuously enhance the professional level of the department, and effectively solve the problems existing in the development of clinical departments, on January 9th, 2026, Dr. Han Feng, the president of our hospital, led the relevant functional department leaders and clinical experts to conduct the medical administrative ward round in the Spine Surgery Department II.

Dr. Han Feng first went to the department to listen to the shift report of the medical staff and the analysis of Dr. Wang Dongbo, the director of Spine Surgery Department II, on the precautions for newly admitted and surgical patients. Then he went to the ward to participate in the on-site medical ward round. After the ward round, the medical experts commented and analyzed the ward round situation of the department. The functional departments such as the Medical Affairs Department, the Nursing Department, the Hospital Infection Management Department, the Clinical Pharmacy Department, and the Medical Record Room provided feedback on various contents including medical quality, medical safety, hospital infection, nursing quality, medication safety, and running medical records, focusing on core aspects such as medical quality and safety, optimization of nursing services, and collaborative management during the perioperative period, and put forward specific improvement requirements. Regarding the demands for equipment and material support and an increase in beds, clear solutions and implementation measures were provided, and professional guidance and assistance were offered from the perspectives of optimizing the patient's visit process, improving the operational efficiency of the department, and interpreting the medical insurance policies.

At the feedback meeting, Dr. Han Feng pointed out that the department should strengthen management, urge medical staff to firmly establish a sense of responsibility and bottom-line thinking, and adhere to respect for duties and strict compliance with norms. He particularly put forward three requirements: First, to steadily implement various core systems to ensure the orderly conduct of medical activities; second, to combine the special rectification activities during the perioperative period to strengthen quality control throughout the preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative processes to ensure medical safety; third, to further optimize the service process and improve the patient's medical experience, so as to win the trust and recognition of patients with high-quality and efficient medical services.
This medical administrative ward round by the president not only comprehensively inspected the standardized implementation of various tasks in Spine Surgery Department II, but also built a bridge of interaction and efficient communication between functional departments and clinical departments. In the future, Yantai Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital will take this ward round as an opportunity, focus on the core needs of clinical work, precisely solve development problems, continuously improve the hospital's meticulous management level, and provide more solid medical guarantees for the health of the regional population.
