Party building leads the way for development; Qimiao benefits the people and writes a new chapter - Yantai Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine holds the 2025 annual work summary and commendation meeting

On the afternoon of February 5th, the Yantai Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital held a grand "Preserving the Essence and Integrating Innovation; Continuing the Chapter" - 2025 Annual Party and Government Work Summary and Commendation Conference in the multi-functional lecture hall of the administrative building of the East Campus. The meeting was chaired by Liu Chunna, the deputy secretary of the Party committee. The hospital's leadership members, department heads and deputy heads, head and deputy head nurses, heads of secondary departments, representatives of retired senior experts, and representatives of those commended attended the conference.

During the meeting, the deputy secretary of the Party committee and the president of the hospital, Han Feng, read out the 2025 hospital Party committee commendation decision. The members of the leadership team presented honorary certificates to over 100 representatives of the winning advanced collective and individual.
To enhance the sense of honor and ceremony among retired employees and express the hospital's profound respect and deep gratitude to them, the conference also held the 2025 retirement employee retirement ceremony.
Party secretary Wang Yunqiang delivered a report titled "2025 Party and Government Work Summary and 2026 Work Plan". Secretary Wang reviewed the hospital's development achievements in 18 aspects such as Party building, medical quality, discipline construction, and scientific research and teaching, pointed out the existing problems and deficiencies, and made comprehensive arrangements for 2026 work.
Secretary Wang pointed out that in 2025, under the strong leadership of the municipal committee, the municipal government and the municipal health commission, the hospital will aim to build a "modern integrated traditional Chinese medicine hospital with advanced domestic standards and first-class in the province". It will adhere to the development concept of "specializing in traditional Chinese medicine, strengthening Western medicine, and integrating traditional and Western medicine", focusing on addressing shortcomings, strengthening weak areas, consolidating the foundation and establishing a brand. It has achieved gratifying development results and successfully accomplished the goals and tasks of the "14th Five-Year Plan". The hospital has successively received honors such as "National Model Unit for Respect for the Elderly" and "Yantai City Clinical Specialty Construction Advanced Unit".
Secretary Wang emphasized that in 2026, it will be the year when the "15th Five-Year Plan" takes off, and it will also be the year when the hospital prepares for the next round of three-star hospital re-examination and strives to achieve high-quality development.
