From May 28th to 31st, the 2026 Vision Health Innovation Development International Conference (Vision China 2026) was grandly held at the Tianjin Meijiang Convention and Exhibition Center. During the conference, with solid diagnostic and treatment techniques, a mature myopia prevention and control system, and standardized specialized construction, the ophthalmology department of our hospital successfully received the "National Myopia Prevention and Control Capacity Building Alliance Backbone Unit" certification. Together with several top tertiary hospitals such as the Third Hospital of Central South University, Southern Medical University Southern Hospital, Nanjing Medical University Second Hospital, and Changchun University of Traditional Chinese Medicine Affiliated Hospital, they were all awarded this honor on the same stage. This national-level certification fully demonstrates the professional capabilities and comprehensive strength of our ophthalmology department in myopia prevention and control and the management of children and adolescents' eye health, marking a new milestone in the construction of the department's discipline.

On the occasion of the 31st National Eye Care Day, to enable the public to enjoy high-quality national-level ophthalmic medical services right at their doorstep, our hospital has specially invited Professor Zhao Yang, the former director of Beijing Tongren Hospital and the founder of the 4L therapy for myopia prevention and control, as well as the inventor of the dynamic peripheral defocus technology, to come and practice at our hospital.
