In order to give full play to the advantages and role of appropriate technologies for traditional Chinese medicine at the grassroots level in the prevention and treatment of common and multiple diseases at the grassroots level,according to the requirements of the"Notice on Strengthening the Standardized Construction of County-level Promotion Centers for Suitable Technologies for Traditional Chinese Medicine in Shandong Province"issued by the Shandong Provincial Health and Health Commission,under the unified leadership of the Yantai Municipal Health and Health Commission,our hospital established contacts with the five districts of Zhifu District,Laishan District,Huangbohai New District,Fushan District,and High-tech Zone of Yantai City.On July 20,2023,an online training meeting on the promotion of suitable technologies for traditional Chinese medicine was organized for primary-level doctors in the five district Health Hospitals.

A total of 4 lecturers in this training conference introduced the application and development of suitable techniques of traditional Chinese medicine in various fields and departments from the application of gynecology with external treatment methods characteristic of traditional Chinese medicine,the application of the heart-saving pill series and Erxian Wenjing ointment in coronary heart disease,scoliosis examination and American chiropractic therapy,traditional Chinese medicine therapy,special quality intervention programs,etc.The application and development of suitable techniques of traditional Chinese medicine in various fields and departments.

Director Sun Li of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of our hospital introduced six common gynecological diseases such as uterine prolapse,dysmenorrhea,pelvic inflammatory disease,severe pregnancy vomiting,infertility,and cervical HPV infection to primary-level doctors.They explained the definition of the disease,the etiology and pathogenesis of the disease,and the treatment method.At the same time,the characteristic external treatments of traditional Chinese medicine for each disease were introduced in detail,and the remarkable curative effects of the characteristic therapies of traditional Chinese medicine were demonstrated through several typical cases,which are well worthy of the application and promotion of primary-level doctors in clinical practice.

The deputy Chief physician of the Department of Cardiology of our hospital, Zhang Lei, introduced the scope of application, drug composition, application specifications and academic values of the series of proprietary Chinese medicines, such as blood-activating heart-saving pill, phlegm-reducing heart-saving pill, Wenyang heart-saving pill, and Ningshen Heart-saving pill, to primary-level physicians. At the same time, Director Zhang also explained Erxian Wenjing Ointment acupoint application for the treatment of coronary heart disease and angina pectoris, a characteristic therapy of traditional Chinese medicine, which conforms to the law of traditional Chinese medicine's own development and can well reflect the characteristics and advantages of traditional Chinese medicine in disease prevention and treatment.

Dr. Wang Lihui of the Department of Neck, shoulder, waist and leg pain in our hospital explained in detail what scoliosis is, how to conduct examinations, how to avoid the occurrence of scoliosis, and how to intervene in the case of scoliosis. He also introduced the characteristic therapies of traditional Chinese medicine—American chiropractic therapy and bobath therapy. The operation process is simple, clear and vivid, which is convenient for primary-level doctors to learn and apply.

Dr. Liu Xiao Qin of the Preventive Health Care Center and the Center for the Treatment of Diseases of our hospital explained in detail the intervention plan for the treatment of the peaceful and special physique of traditional Chinese medicine from the concept, performance, cause of disease, treatment rules, treatment methods, and diet therapy of the peaceful and special physique of traditional Chinese medicine for the treatment of diseases. The systematic training of the intervention plan can help primary-level doctors apply traditional Chinese medicine, proprietary Chinese medicine, medicinal diet therapy and other methods to help patients correct their roots and better improve their physique.

The training meeting lasted for 2 hours, and a total of 143 people watched the training. After the meeting, it was recorded, broadcast and replayed to facilitate primary-level doctors to better understand and master the training content and apply it.Our hospital is the first third-level A-level traditional Chinese medicine hospital in Yantai. It undertakes the promotion and application of suitable technologies for traditional Chinese medicine at the grassroots level in Zhifu District, Laishan District, Development Zone, Fushan District and high-tech zone. In the next step, we will continue to carry out the promotion of suitable technologies for traditional Chinese medicine, and promote simple and low-cost suitable technologies for traditional Chinese medicine to rural and community medical and health institutions, highlighting the advantages and roles of suitable technologies for traditional Chinese medicine in the prevention and treatment of common and multiple diseases at the grassroots level.
