The graduation examination for the seventh batch of the national project of inheriting the academic experiences of renowned traditional Chinese medicine experts at Yantai Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine has been successfully completed.
On December 23, 2025, in accordance with the relevant requirements of the "Seventh Batch of National Elder TCM Experts' Academic Experience Inheritance Work Graduation Examination Plan" issued by the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Health Commission of Shandong Province organized an expert team to visit our hospital to conduct the graduation examination for the seventh batch of national elder TCM experts' academic experience inheritance work. Four academic experience inheritors from Yantai Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine - Tan Song, Dai Lingling, Li Shiqing, and Sun Li - passed the rigorous evaluation by the expert team and successfully completed the examination. This marks another achievement in the field of inheriting the academic experience of elder TCM experts at our hospital.

The expert group focused on the core concept of "effectiveness of inheritance", and through on-site inspections, listening to reports, and reviewing the inheritance achievements, they conducted a systematic and in-depth examination of the learning outcomes of the inheritors over the past three years. After comprehensive assessment, the expert group unanimously agreed that the four inheritors had clear inheritance goals, serious and down-to-earth attitudes, had mastered the core academic ideas of the mentors proficiently, had a profound and accurate understanding of their clinical experience, and demonstrated solid innovative application capabilities. The expert group highly praised the overall performance of the four inheritors.
Talents are the core driving force for the development of traditional Chinese medicine. The Yantai Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine has always regarded the inheritance of the academic experiences of veteran traditional Chinese medicine experts as a key measure for cultivating key talents in traditional Chinese medicine. The successful graduation of these four inheritors this time is not only a full recognition of the effectiveness of our hospital's inheritance work, but also injects new vitality into the hospital's team of traditional Chinese medicine experts, adding new impetus to the high-quality development of traditional Chinese medicine.
The Yantai Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine will take this assessment as a new starting point, continuously deepen the systematic organization, effective inheritance and wide promotion of academic experiences, while constantly strengthening talent cultivation efforts, encouraging young physicians to adhere to tradition and innovate, and comprehensively improving medical service quality and capabilities, in order to contribute more to safeguarding the health of the people and promoting the high-quality development of traditional Chinese medicine in the region.
